Labels for fruit and vegetables

For labels applied to fruit and vegetables, face material, adhesive and printing must be assessed together for the application and intended end of life.

Compostability must be documented for the proposed construction and relevant treatment conditions. A component certificate does not automatically cover the complete label. Food-contact requirements must also be checked.
