Blank logistics labels are available with different constructions, including FSC-certified papers. Face material, adhesive and liner must be selected for the surface, printing process and application conditions. The FSC claim must be confirmed in the supply documentation. Environmental comparisons require data for the specific materials and comparison boundary.

Wine Label Solutions

• The Product: recycled and responsibly sourced materials. Fleury, Cane Fiber and Grape Touch label faces are made from recycled material and offer brands an engaging story and consumers an extra reason to enjoy their favourite vintage wine.
• Authenticity and sustainability: the Grape Touch FSC® natural paper front offers a sense of simple authenticity and craftsmanship, while using less virgin wood fibre. It is made from 15% grape waste from wine production, 40% post-consumer recycled fibre and 45% Forest Stewardship Council® certified virgin wood pulp. With its natural and attractive colouring, Grape Touch FSC® combines sustainability with excellent shelf impact.

Self-adhesive PP, PE and PET films with recycled content. Percentages and origin depend on the material. OBP solutions concern plastic at risk of reaching the ocean, not necessarily recovered from the ocean: check origin and the attribution system with the supplier.

Materials with biologically sourced components include sugar-cane-fibre papers, cellulose-derived films and polymers attributed to biobased feedstocks through mass balance. Check content, attribution method and certifications for the specific supply. Biobased origin, biodegradability and compostability are distinct properties; the adhesive and treatment conditions must be assessed separately.

MarbleBase is a face material containing calcium carbonate and HDPE. Composition, certifications, food-contact suitability and end of life must be checked for the specific construction. Properties of the face material do not automatically apply to the complete label.

ThinkThin offers thinner label constructions. Performance, resource use, reel handling and transport must be assessed for the selected product and process, without generic comparative percentages.

Special materials with particularly tough adhesives are now available on the market, designed to withstand the reuse of primary packaging over time, guaranteeing constant aesthetic quality and consequent reuse. In particular, beer bottles, and the beverage sector in general, is the main user of these materials.

Special materials designed for the beverage market that uses self-adhesive clear-on-clear solutions and needs to be able to wash the bottle so that it can be reused are now available on the market.

The washing cycle in which the special material, upon reaching a temperature between 65° and 85° naturally detaches itself from the bottle/flask in a perfect way so that it can be refilled and used again.

CleanFlake materials are designed to facilitate label and adhesive release during PET packaging treatment. Compatibility and results depend on the construction and washing conditions. Request documentation and tests for the application.

Adhesives for glass recycling are designed to facilitate label separation during treatment. Release conditions and process yield depend on the construction and plant: request applicable data sheets and test results.

Specialised operators can identify suitable treatment destinations for each type of waste. Recycling and energy recovery are different destinations and must be reported separately. Quantities, destinations and costs must be checked in collection and treatment records.
